Fall Civic Sweep

Clean and beautify your neighborhood! Plant daffodil bulbs! Enjoy old-time music by Paul and Jody! Volunteers of all ages welcome!

782 Union St., between 6th and 7th Avenues 
  

Join your friends and neighbors in painting over graffiti, sweeping sidewalks, mulching tree pits, and picking up trash. Enjoy old-time music by Jody Kruskal and Paul Friedman. We will give away leaf bags as well as daffodil bulbs for planting in public places.Volunteers of all ages welcome. Students Can Earn Communlty Service Credit!

Bring plastic bags (clean and dry!) for recycling by Park Slope Food Coop.  The Coop also recycles most plastics not accepted by NYC.  Consult the Coop website for details.
 
Bring unwanted textiles for recycling by Wearable Collections.  This Manhattan-based company works to implement permanent clothing recycling programs in residential buildings.  They will be collecting wearable and non-wearable clothes, shoes, bags, belts, hats, linen and bedding.

Sign in and pick up cleaning gear on Union Street outside the Park Slope Food Coop.
