Awards and Scholarships

Each June at its annual membership meeting, the Park Slope Civic Council honors outstanding volunteers and professionals for service to the community with its Lovgren Award.

At the same meeting the PSCC awards three scholarships (Mary Laverne Allman, Kazeroid and PSCC) to high school seniors graduating from one of the Secondary Schools at John Jay. The Allman and Civic Council Scholarships are funded by the Civic Council with proceeds from the annual House Tour (which also fund our community grants program); the PSCC administers the Kazeroid Scholarship, which is funded by a bequest from the Kazeroid family.
